Any major problems in converting an internally wastegated turbo to external gates? I was chatting to someone who said its just a matter of fastening the internal gate closed and taping an external gate into the exhaust manifold. My PE1420s dont want to make more than 24psi on internal gates and I was thinking I wouldnt mind trying for 30 psi on racegas. Does a conversion like this pose any major problems Im overlooking??
